Chilling CCTV shows the moment a taxi boss was killed in a drive-by shooting following a bitter family feud in Dudley.Mohammed Haroon Zeb, 39, died after being shot in the head in Dudley on his birthday in January 2021. A court heard the taxi firm manager had only just pulled up outside his home when he was targeted by Gurdeep Sandhu and Hassan Tasleem.

A court heard Mohammed was killed as a result of a three year ‘tit for tat’ feud between two warring groups of families. The ongoing disagreement had resulted in people bring run over with cars, fights in the street and even one man being stabbed to death.

However, Mohammed was not believed to have been actively involved in the feud and detectives say the reason he was targeted remains unknown. Eight men were charged with conspiracy to murder and went on trial at Loughborough Crown Court last year.

Sandhu and Tasleem, both 23 and from Dudley, were found guilty of murder, possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and perverting the course of justice. A third man Shamraz Ali, 21, also from Dudley, was convicted of perverting the course of justice following the three month trial.

On Thursday 16 February, Tasleem and Sandhu were both sentenced to life in prison - to serve a minimum of 30 years each while Ali was jailed for five years. The trial heard the fatal blow came from a lethal revolver which was fired from the passenger seat of the Golf but the weapon has never been found.

The vehicle was on false plates and went off the radar until it was later recovered in Telford, Shropshire. Officers then trawled CCTV and scoured social media and phone records to connect the pair to the murder, which happened on January 31, 2021.

Detectives discovered the gun was in the hands of Tasleem at the time while Sandhu was the driver of the car and involved in the plot. Footage released by police after sentencing also shows the killers changing the car’s number plates shortly before the fatal shooting.
