West Midlands Police officers tracked the Golf less than an hour later to nearby Old Moat Way before trying to box in the car along the cul-de-sac.

Dash-cam video shows Seymour making a desperate attempt to drive away as he rams into two police cars and a parked vehicle.

He can be seen eventually leaning out of the car window with a red taser laser dot trained on his forehead where he surrenders to officers shouting "alright, alright".

But passenger Wallcroft tried to run off before being chased down by officers on foot who scream "get down, get down now" as they bundle him to the ground.

The arresting officer slaps him in handcuffs, telling him: "You’re being arrested on suspicion of robbery my friend."
