Take a look at what you can expect from Birmingham’s new F1 Aracde opening in Paradise, opposite Albert’s Schloss

Excitement is building as Birmingham’s new F1 Arcade is set to open within weeks.

The F1 Arcade will occupy an 11,000 sq. ft unit at Two Chamberlain Square at Paradise Birmingham, the £1.2 billion business, residential and leisure centre. You may have seen the hoardings up - as workers kit out the inside - opposite Albert’s Schloss.

It will be only the second F1 Arcade venue in the country, with the brand’s first venue opening at One New Change, St Paul’s, in London in November 2022. Fly through footage, which you can see above, shows what you can expect from Birmingham’s new F1 Aracde.

How will the F1 Arcade work?

The F1 Arcade in Birmingham will feature bespoke racing simulators designed especially for the venue, featuring motion and audio-visual effects to immerse guests in the race. The idea takes inspiration from the world of Formula 1.

Each guest will get a minimum of four races in a session. There are custom built race screens and bespoke point scoring systems, which will guide you through your booking, letting you know who is up next, handy tips to get you racing and who is in the lead on points.

The F1 Arcade will join other entertainment businesses around Centenary Way - including Dishoom, Albert’s Schloss, Rosa’s Thai and Yorks at Paradise.

F1 Arcade Watch Parties

The venue pledges that it will be “the best place to watch F1 in Birmingham. Grand Prix races will be broadcast on huge TV screens with live commentary, enteratinment and unlimted sim racing before the pros get on the real track. The F1 Arcade in London hosted a watch party for the Bahrain Grand Prix in March hosted by Jodie Kidd.

F1 Arcade Birmingham Hub

This is the heart of the F1 Arcade universe where you’ll find your personal Arcadian stash (the in house currency). You can use it to engage in captivating in-venue games, acquire exclusive products and unlock VIP experiences. You will be asked to upload your own profile before you get racing.

Food & Drink at the F1 Arcade Bar in Birmingham

The impressive cocktail bar is inspired by the glamorous history of F1. In addition to cocktails there’s sparkling wine, vintage Champagne, beers, shots and more. And for those designated drivers theirs some great mocktails ot choose from too. Food and drink is available to pre-order ahead of your visit to save time on the day. There’s sharing plates, tacos, flatbreads and a whole host of treats to choose from.

Opening date

The new arcade will open on Tuesday, November 21, it has been confirmed. Bookings for the F1 Arcade are open. You can book online, here.
