A crime suspect from Birmingham is among the UK’s top 5 most wanted men.

Ishmael Farquharson is wanted for the murder of 16-year-old Sekou Doucoure. Sekou was discovered seriously injured on 12 July and despite the best efforts of officers and paramedics nothing could be done to save him.

Last week, on 15 February, two people were found guilty of killing 16-year-old Sekou in Birmingham. Pierre Thomas, and a 16-year-old who can’t be named because of his age, were found guilty of manslaughter.

Crimestoppers are now offering a reward of £10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Farquharson, who is wanted in connection with the murder.

Top UK five most wanted fugitives

The fugitives are wanted for murder, rape and sexual assault, attempted rape, large-scale drug dealing and money laundering. Crimestoppers is offering up to £5,000 for each of the other men for information they receives that leads to their arrest.

The other criminals in the list include: Ron Domi, who is wanted for the rape of a gemale child under 16 in Luton, Caine Morse, from Cardiff who is wanted for trafficking in controlled drugs, Zulfkar Sheblan, from Cardiff who is wanted for trafficking in controlled drugs, and Malek Zafar, who is wanted in connection with an attempted rape in the Tonbridge area.

Mick Duthie, Crimestoppers’ Director of Operations, said: “These wanted individuals have managed to evade justice for too long. They are a danger and need to be found.

“We’re asking the public to be alert and, if they know where any of the named individuals are located, please let us know. If you’re interested in being eligible for a reward of up to £5,000, you must ask for a unique reward code.”
