Two arrested at Birmingham Airport for County Line drug operation

The pair were arrested as they attempted to board a plane to Mexico

Two people have been charged in connection with a County Line drug operation running in Birmingham, Sandwell and Dudley.

Mohammed Sheikh, 27, and Sapphire Edwards, 31, both from Dudley, have been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

The pair were arrested at Birmingham Airport, yesterday morning, Saturday 6 May, as they attempted to board a plane to Mexico.

They have been remanded in custody to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, Monday 8 May.
