Family tributes paid to Jack Lowe - stabbed to death near IKEA in Wednesbury

Eighteen year-old Jack Lowe was found fatally stabbed on Wednesday evening (December 7).

Despite the extensive efforts of ambulance teams he died at the scene in parkland off Cook Street, near IKEA in Wednesbury.

West Midlands Police have charged a 18-year-old man with murder. His family are being supported by specialist officers and are being kept updated on the investigation.

They have asked police to release their tributes to Jack. His mum said: "Jack, our darling boy. The best son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin and friend. How could anyone not love such a caring, beautiful and most loving boy like you?

"Jack you had the most beautiful smile, you would light up a whole room, always making everyone around you laugh. Our lives will never be the same without you, you had your whole life ahead of you and now it’s been snatched away in the most horrific way.

"We all miss you so terribly much, our darling boy. It still doesn’t seem real, feels like we’re in a bad nightmare we can’t wake up from. Now Jack, go and rest your head and sleep tight. Now, forever and always. Goodnight darling boy.”

And his dad said: "I love you Jack, you will always be my little boy. I thought about you every day - I’ll never stop loving you. I love you more than you’ll ever know."

Three teenagers were arrested shortly after the incident and yesterday (Saturday) evening Brandon Price, 18, was charged with murder.

He remains in police custody today (Sunday) and will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday).

A 16-year-old has been released on bail with conditions while the investigation continues and another 18-year-old has been released with no further action.
