Animal charity Dogs Trust in Kenilworth is home to several adorable dogs that are looking for a second at having a family.
They have pups and adult dogs of different breeds like Golden Retriver, Border Collies, Chihuahua, Shih Tzu and crossbreed who can become a family pet. All of them have differente requirements and those looking to adopt should read the fine print to ensure that the dog fits your lifestyle and personality.

1. Griffen
Crossbreed Griffen is a really sweet lad who does have a sensitive side who will need people who will go at his pace. He does have a worried side around new people so for this reason the charity are looking for an adult only home with no visiting children. New owners will also need to be willing to do multiple visits to the centre to help build up a relationship before going home to help make the transition into the home easier for him. Because of his worries around new people, Griffen is learning to wear a muzzle when he’s out on walks and is doing really well with lots of treats!
2. Hendricks
Golden retriever Hendricks is a stunning boy who is full of fun and energy, and is looking for a really active home! Hendricks loves his dog friends and is looking for a home with a pre existing confident dog (as long as they can match his energy levels and excitable play style), and would also benefit from a multiple dog household. He does have some behavioural needs, so will need an adult only home with minimal visitors, and can’t be in contact with children.
3. Teddy
Teddy is a Terrier (Yorkshire) Cross. He is looking for a hands off approach while he settles in, and is looking for a very understanding adult only home where he can be given lots of time and space to settle. He gets quite overwhelmed around intense handling and grooming and is currently learning how to wear a muzzle in return for a tasty treat! Teddy has previously shown resource guarding behaviour so will need a new home where this behaviour can be managed, and is undergoing crate training to help with this.
4. Baxter
Baxter, a Border Collie, loves to play with his toys! He would love his own secure garden to chase, fetch and tug all his toys. He enjoys to snuggle up to his favourite carers, especially in quieter areas of the centre. He is looking for a quiet, adult only home with minimal visitors as he can be worried by new people and walks muzzled to help with this. He enjoys his adventuring around rural areas, sniffing around and running in the long grass.
