The excitement was palpable on Friday as people gathered around the slide waiting to see what is in store for them if they take part.

The slide was being tested out, and many couldn’t wait to have a go at it. Some bravehearts endangered their outfits as they took to the slide. When they emerged at the other end of the arches, they were soaking wet and full of smiles.

A young dad carrying his son on his shoulders stood watching while it was tested and when asked if he would have a go, he excitedly said yes. Unfortunately, his son was not eligible to take part.

The ride is strictly for those aged 12+.
