Lifestyle brand Miniso to open in Birmingham at Bullring & Grand Central

Lifestyle brand Miniso’s first Birmingham store will be opening at Bullring & Grand Central this September. The Chinese lifestyle products retailer will be located in the Grand Central mall next to L’Occitane and near Fat Face.

It will have a range of products including toys, tech, stationery, accessories, homeware, food and health and beauty as well as products from its popular partnerships with brands such as Disney, Minions and We Bare Bears. Miniso is known for having a range of cute and affordable products.

The new store, which will be the brand’s third franchise store and its 11^th location in the UK, will officially open on Friday 9 September at 12pm. The brand was founded by CEO Ye Guofo and has become a global one. They have over 4900 stores in more than 90 countries and regions since 2013 including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Spain, UAE, India, and Mexico.

There will be a number of activities taking place at the store to celebrate the new opening including the appearance of a surprise character and a complimentary gift with purchase (worth over £25) for the first 200 customers.

The new 1,800 sq ft store has created up to 15 new jobs for the local community. The nearest store for Brummies prior to this was in Solihull. The brand has stores in London, Brighton, Leeds, Oxford, and other locations in the UK.
