Ladywood burglar guilty of murder

A burglar from Ladywood who tied up a pensioner and left him for dead before going on a spending spree with his stolen cash card has been found guilty of his murder. The 78-year-old had been tied to a chair by Adris Mohammed and suffered a fatal heart attack. He will be sentenced next Wednesday.

Motorcyclist in critical condition following crash in Kingstanding

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash in Kingstanding on Wednesday morning.The 30-year-old man was hit by a Ford Focus on Kings Road in the early hours. The occupants of the car fled the scene, but five people were later arrested and remain in police custody.

Cradley Heath drug dealer jailed

A drug dealer from Cradley Heath has been jailed after being found with more than £150,000 of cash in his car – plus cocaine valued at £90,000 in a red Renault Clio which was opened using a key which Tanvir Khaliq was carrying. He was jailed for five years and one month.
