Armed robber sentenced to five years
An armed robber who threatened a Frankley shop worker with a knife has been jailed. Andrew Oseman was seen on CCTV grabbing the elderly woman before throwing her out of the way and making off with £230 in cash. He was found guilty of robbery and sentenced to five years.


Fraudster ordered to pay back illegal earnings
A convicted fraudster who lived a lavish lifestyle has been ordered to hand over £1.5 million in illegal earnings. Eric Fitzpatrick Davison was initially jailed for 11 years after setting up bogus companies to trick investors in 2010. He must now hand over the outstanding amount or spend another eight and a half years behind bars.
National Express reveal new timetable and bus service

Hide AdNational Express West Midlands has revealed timetable changes to its services in the city, as well as a new service for Sutton Coldfield. The 604 is a new service between Sutton Coldfield and Hill Hook, and will be introduced from Sunday 24th April.
