Weather warning issued for Birmingham - full Birmingham Met Office forecast

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind in Birmingham and the West Midlands towards the end of the week and the start of next week with Storm Isha set to hit the UK.

Hide AdYellow weather warnings for snow and ice have been in place across northern England this week, as well as parts of the West Midlands including Shropshire, and although the white stuff is yet to fall in Birmingham, the city has had to deal with freezing temperatures during the last week.
No snow is currently forecast for the city, but a yellow weather warning is now in place for wind on Sunday (January 21) and Monday (January 22). According to the Met Office wind gusts of up to 54mph are forecast to hit the city on Sunday night at around 9pm, with gusts of up to 41mph expected on Monday morning and Monday evening. The windy weather is expected to die off around Tuesday, although there could be some heavy rain on Monday and Tuesday.

Frosty start with freezing fog patches slowly clearing, but a dry day with plenty of sunshine before cloud builds later. Temperatures slightly higher than of late, but still feeling cold. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
A change is on the way over the weekend and into next week as the weather turns milder, wetter, and much windier, with gales and heavy rain at times.
