A popular historic pub in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham opened its doors after refurbishment that has transformed the interiors.

The mid-19th century Sizzling pub serves traditional pub food and the original building was replaced by the current one in the first half of the last century.

Located in Boldemere, the Sutton Park Hotel is a great place for families to eat, drink and relax after a long day spent exploring Sutton Park or playing golf in Wylde Green.

The pub is welcoming customers back after a three week refurbishment with a brighter and fresher look. The improvements include a refreshed bar, new soft furnishings and an improved dining area providing guests with a relaxed, welcoming environment to enjoy their visit.

Commenting on the pub’s new look, general manager, Nikki Cooper said: “We’re thrilled to reveal The Sutton Park Hotel’s new look to our guests. Whether you’re looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same sizzle its always had.”

That’s not all as the Sutton Park Hotel is also bringing an all-new food menu featuring delicious, freshly cooked dishes including The Goodfella Burger, Blackened Salmon, Smoke House Platter and T Bone Steak. The family-friendly Sutton Park Hotel, which is also dog-friendly, and shows live sports, can be pre-booked so customers get the comfiest seats in the house. The pub also hosts a popular quiz every Tuesday from 7pm with live entertainment from a local band or DJ every Saturday from 9pm. Here are 13 photos showing how the pub looks now:
