Birmingham bus service changes: Stagecoach, Diamond Bus routes changing in September

Bus operators Diamond Bus and Stagecoach have announced changes to routes in and around Birmingham. With schools returning and increased traffic in the region, the timetables were changed by National Express West Midlands as well. The service changes will take affect across the bus routes from September.
National Express West Midlands announced several changes to their routes, including timetable changes, frequency of buses, terminus and more. Meanwhile, for Stagecoach and Diamond Bus operators, only a limited number of routes are set to change.

82 - Solihull to Coventry

Hide AdFrom September 2, 2023, there will be minor route and timetable changes on this route:
- Eastcote will no longer be served and the bus will travel direct between Catherine de Barnes and Hampton in Arden following the lifting of a long term road closure.
- Following requests from the local community, Parkhill Estate terminus in Coventry will additionally be served to provide residents with a direct link to Solihull. Click here for the new timetable.


Here are the Diamond Bus route changes coming in September:
96 - Kingstanding to Chelmsley Wood / Birmingham Airport - From September 4 there will be a new timetable to improve reliability. The timetable can be found on the Diamond Bus website.
A15 - Shirley to Linton/ A16- Acocks Green to Yardley Wood - From September 3,services A15 and A16 will be merged with a new timetable and route. The timetable provides hourly buses as now Yardley Wood, Swan Centre will no longer be served, buses will link to Solihull instead. These changes are following local community feedback.
The new A15 will provide firect services between Lyndon and Solihull as well as a revised route around Lyndon incorporating Coventry Road, Aldi providing access to this store and interchange to/from services X1/X2 along Coventry Road. It will also provide new through journey opportunities for residents on the current A15 route.
