Thousands of youngsters across Birmingham will be stepping into the next phase of their education next year - either starting primary school or secondary school.
As parents undergo the application process, we have put together a list of some of the best primary and secondary schools in the Birmingham which received ‘good’ or ‘outsanding’ Ofted ratings in 2022, according to the Ofsted website.
Schools across the country are regularly inspected by the education watchdog and are graded on a four-point scale. Although they aren’t inspected every year.
‘Outstanding’ is the top rating a school can receive, ‘good’ is second, ‘requires improvement’ the third and ‘inadequate’ is the worst. Primary school applications close on January 15 in Birmingham while applications to secondary school close on Monday (October 31).
Here are all the primary and secondary schools in Birmingham that received a good or outstanding rating in the latest round of inspections in 2022.
