Birmingham weather warning issued for rain and wind - full Met Office weather forecast

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and wind in Birmingham this week.
The warning is in place from New Year's Day to Tuesday (January 2). Heavy rain is expected to hit the region at around 4pm today and carrying on into the night. The wet weather is also expected to continue throughout much of Tuesday, with a weather warning for wind also in place.

Hide AdWind gusts of up to 30mph are forecast in the West Midlands for the early hours of Tuesday morning. The Met Office says heavy rain fall is likely to cause some travel disruption.

Widely wet to end Monday with rain gradually clearing during the early hours of Tuesday. A blustery and gusty night, preventing a frost from developing. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Rather cloudy start to Tuesday ahead of rain spreading across the region throughout the day. Winds easing and feeling milder than Monday. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
