Dazzling sunshine swept across Birmingham city centre as a rainbow of colours flooded the streets for a glorious Pride Parade.

Thousands joined the free celebrations which began outside the Library of Birmingham in Centenary Square this morning (Saturday, May 27).

Singing and dancing through the streets the parade made its way towards Victoria Square and onto New Street and then onto Moor Street Station before moving onto Smallbrook Queensway before reaching its final destination in the LGBTQ+ village.

A huge festival is taking place in the village and across Smithfield today and tomorrow with the Sugababes headlining tonight, with other performers including Cat Burns, Samantha Mumba and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard. For more information and tickets go to: Birmingham Pride
