Watch: Birmingham police raid Washwood Heath homes as four arrested for drug offences

Police arrested four men in east Birmingham this week after carrying out warrants in Birmingham.
In the early hours of this morning (February 6), officers searched two properties in Washwood Heath and recovered class A drugs and mobile phones suspected of being involved in criminality.

Hide AdTwo men, aged 25 and 21, were arrested the addresses on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. Both remain in police custody. Two men, who were arrested during another drugs warrant in Washwood Heath yesterday, have been charged.
The men, aged 31 and 29, were arrested and charged with supplying crack cocaine and heroin. They were both remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.

Detective Inspector Phil Poole, from the County Lines Taskforce, said: “We are committed to tackling the supply of illegal drugs in Birmingham and the criminality that comes with it.
“It doesn’t stop here. Our work will continue to shut down county lines and the criminality that comes with it.”
