West Midlands Police issue urgent advice as 999 calls to fire, ambulance, police forces not connecting

West Midlands Police have urged people to call 101 in an emergency until otherwise advised as many 999 calls are currently not connecting.

They said that the calls are not going through because of a technical fault.

West Midlands Police added “This appears to be a national Issue affecting fire, ambulance and a number of police forces across the country. Please call 101 in an emergency until otherwise advised.”
