Birmingham’s legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s health complications continue as he shared an update about a new procedure he had to go through. He had to cancel his scheduled performance at The Power Trip festival, which has an amazing line-up including Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, AC/DC, and Judas Priest, in California, USA.
Meanwhile, his popularity continues in Birmingham with the Commonwealth Games bull that was named after him being unveiled in Birmingham city centre today (July 26). The mechanical bull named after the rocker was unveiled in Birmingham New Street today where it performed for the first time since the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2022 with a roar, nod, and tail twitch.

Hide AdOzzy also cancelled his tour of the UK and the US. He had made a short performance at the Commonwealth Games 2022 closing ceremony in Birmingham and at the half-time of the 2022 NFL season opening game in California.
While cancelling his Power Trip show, he had said: “Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet, and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”
He had added: “My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back onstage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.”
Recently, he opened up about his latest health procedure while talking to co-host Billy Morrison on SiriusXM’s Ozzy Speaks. He revealed that he had a blood clot filter removed from one of his arteries recently. It was put in place to stop blood clots from moving towards his heart and brain from the legs.

He said: “The blood clots have jammed you all up. It’s just disappointment after disappointment. Just get this thing fucking done so I can go get on with my life.”
The rocker, who formed Black Sabbath in Birmingham before they became a global phenomenon, added that he’s “battling through” this latest health situation of his. He was previously diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
