Motorcyclist dies after colliding with tree in Birmingham - road closed

A motorcyclist in his 20s has died after colliding with a tree in Birmingham.

The incident took place on Bristol Road near Bournville Lane today (Wednesday, September 20). Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed. West Midlands Roads said the road is currently blocked from city only. Commuters were asked to allow extra time to travel and consider alternative routes.
