Birmingham man and woman arrested on suspicion of murder of Nagiib Maxamed at a Turkish bar in Milton Keynes

A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of murdering an "amazing" man who died from a stab wound to the chest.
Nagiib Maxamed, 28, died in hospital after police were called to an incident at a Turkish bar and lounge in Milton Keynes on December 27.

Hide AdA 29-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from the Birmingham area, were arrested on suspicion of murder in the early hours of Tuesday morning
The pair were also arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of a second man in his 20s who was assaulted at the venue. He suffered serious injuries but is now in a stable condition at hospital.
The man and woman remain in custody.
Police were called to Atesh restaurant in Milton Keynes, Bucks at around 1.30am on December 27 where they found two men in their 20s with serious injuries.
Both men received emergency care in hospital but Nagiib sadly died a day later.

Hide AdA post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.


Tributes to Nagiib
Former schoolmates and colleagues have since paid tributes to Nagiib on a community Facebook page.
Lauren Harrison said: "My heart goes out to his family, I went to college with him, an amazing guy, I’m in shock 💔"
Steve Corkett added: "This hit me man, this guy would help you no matter what and would light up a room with his energy and smile, RIP man"
