M6 travel disruption and congestion following collision on Spaghetti Junction - latest update

A collision on Spaghetti Junciton in Birmingham is causing traffic disruption and congestion on the M6 this morning (Friday, September 29)

There are long delays on the M6 southbound after a collision this morning (September 29) at Spaghetti Junction.

The connecting route from M6 to A38 and A5127 were closed after a crash on the southbound carriageway of junction 6 at the Gravelly Hill Interchange. Motorists were warned that there are over five miles of congestion and they should add an extra 30 to 40 minutes journey time.

National Highways West Midlands wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “There are long delays on the #M6 southbound, due to a collision closing the connector at #M6 J6/#A38/#A5127 #GravellyInterchange. Over 5 miles of congestion, please add an extra 30 to 40 minutes journey time.”
