The driver of the £168k Italian supercar claimed his friend had taxed the vehicle when quizzed by officer’s but police found this was untrue.

The brazen driver then shockingly asked if he could use one of the officer’s phone to tax his luxury car in a bid to save his prized possession.

After cops declined, the driver eventually embarrassingly revealed that he couldn’t actually afford the hefty tax on his Lamborghini.

He had to watch as his car was seized by West Midlands Police and loaded onto a lorry - with the cost of the tax and a fine now needing to be paid.
