The study looks at factors such as the average price of a pint in the area, the number of screens, the availability of a big screen, anti-social behaviour figures per postcode and more to give an ultimate list of the best UK sports pubs.

Taking first place in ths list was the One Trick Pony Club in Moseley Village, scoring 39.37 out of a possible 50. With multiple screens (including a big screen), live streaming from Sky Sports and TNT Sports as well as terrestrial channels and a fair average pint price in the area of £4.00, there is no surprise this pub came out on top.

Their website also allows patrons to see which fixtures will be shown in the pub and allow bookings for popular tournaments such as the Rugby World Cup.

But, the One Trick Pony Club wasn’t the only Birmingham boozer to make the top 20, Hennesseys Bar in Digbeth came in seventh place, with a score of 36.51 out of 50. Their website claims they are “One of Birmingham’s best-known bars for live sport” and offer an impressive 20 screens across 5 different rooms, giving ample room for 1000 people during major events.
