Man assaulted on Stanfield Road in Great Barr, Birmingham

West Midlands Police are investigating after a man was assaulted in Great Barr, Birmingham on July 19.

The victim was driving along Frampton Road when another car scuffed his wing mirror and bumper at around 3.30pm. When the victim got out of the car, four men from the other car got out and repeatedly punched him to the floor.

The assault took place at the junction of Stanfield Road. Police have not arrested anyone so far and are urging anyone who was in the area at the time that witnessed the incident to get in touch.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “In particular, we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area with dash-cam footage that might have captured the incident. Anyone with information is asked to get in touch quoting crime reference number 20/655721/23. Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
