Animal charity Birmingham Dogs Home is looking at forever homes for dogs at their centre in Solihull this Christmas.
They currently have 15 dogs at the centre who need a family to care for them. Prospective owners are able to spend a day with the dogs at the centres so those thinking about adopting a dog can get a real taste of how a dog could fit in with their homelife
The centre works with nine local authorities across the Midlands to deliver care to over 2,000 dogs every year at our rescue centres, here they aim to provide the best level of care for every dog that needs help and to offer support and advice to their adopters and future families.
We’ve taken a look at the 15 pooches currently available at the dogs home in Hampton in Arden, Solihull If you are interested in finding out more about one of the dogs, you will need to complete the online adoption enquiry form. If you are visiting in person, you will be asked to complete an adoption enquiry form before looking around the kennels. You can find it at: Birmingham Dogs Home
Here are 15 dogs available for you to meet now.

1. Clover, Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois), age: 1 years 6 months, female
Clover is a sweet and lively girl who came into the centre not very socialised. She is very strong on the lead and will need more lead training. She will need a patient family that can continue this progress. She is unsure on how to play with toys and needs basic command training as well. | Birmingham Dogs Home

2. Maple, age: 10 months, female
Sweet Maple came into the centre under socialised and very nervous. She will need a patient family that can continue this progress and do multiple meets. Once you’ve gained her trust she is a friendly and gentle girl. Would benefit from being the only dog in the household | Birmingham Dogs Home

3. Reggie, Akita age: 6 years 1 months, male (N)
Reggie is an independent lad who loves to go on adventures and explore his surroundings. He is looking for a calm, adult only home where he can do his own thing. Unfortunately Reggie does have a bite history which is believed was caused over food. Reggie would benefit from a home with Akita experience. | Birmingham Dogs Home

4. Arnie, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, age: 8 years 1 months Male
Meet Arnie, a lovely, more independent type dog who loves nothing more than a good belly rub and adventures big and small. Arnie is a very clever for an older dog, as he knows how to sit and give paw. Arnie is ready to find a loving home where he can get comfortable with someone that can manage his behaviour, and have lots of fun and adventures with his owner and get all the love attention he deserves. | Birmingham Dogs Home
