Man’s body found in Birmingham City Centre

The unidentified man’s body was found in the early hours of Saturday (March 18)

A man was found deceased in Birmingham City Centre during the weekend.

The unidentified man’s body was found in the early hours of Saturday (March 18) and parts of Temple Street were closed. The street shut off lead to New Street and Grand Central Station. However, the cordon was lifted before Saturday evening.

The police had launched an enquiry into the incident. Their preliminary findings have shown that the death of the person was not suspicious.

West Midlands Police told BirminghamWorld: “Following further enquiries, the death of a man in Lower Temple Street is not being treated as suspicious.

“A report will be prepared for the Coroner in due course.”
