Two men were seriously injured near the busy German Christmas market in Birmingham.

Hide AdParamedics and West Midlands Police were called to New Street in Birmingham city centre just after 8.50pm on Tuesday (November 21).
Paramedics provided treatment to the injured men before the victims were transferred to hospital for further treatment.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on New Street in Birmingham just after 8.50pm on Tuesday (21st November).

Hide Ad"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found two male patients with serious injuries. Ambulance staff provided treatment on scene before they were conveyed to hospital for further treatment."
A statement from West Midlands Police, read: "We’re investigating after two people were injured during disorder on New Street, Birmingham at 8.40pm on Tuesday (November 12).
"Two men, aged 22 and 20 were taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening. Two 18-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of wounding and possession of an offensive weapon and released on police bail with strict conditions.
"The incident was not connected to the German market. Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who saw what happened, or has any information, should contact us quoting log 430 of 12/11."
