A series of changes to bus timetables in Birmingham are set to come into effect this weekend.

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) said it works with operators of bus services to make improvements for passengers and these alterations were part of that.

The changes to a number of services in Birmingham will be put into force on Sunday (April 27) and people are urged to check their journeys before travelling to get the most up to date information.

The TfWM website said: “In addition to our yearly bus network reviews, we are constantly working with operators to monitor services and make improvements where we can.

“To increase the efficiency of the network, bus operators may make minor changes to their services throughout the year.

“We work to update our online timetables, journey planner, and at-stop information before the change date, however this is not always possible.

“Please check your journey before you travel to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.”
