The Late May Bank Holiday is here and Birmingham is getting ready for its biggest LGBTQ+ festival - Birmingham Pride.
Birmingham city centre is going to have an explosion of colour as thousands of people head to Pride festival this weekend. For those heading to Bullring to shop during the long weekend - it would be helpful to remember that several roads in city centre will be closed or have restricted access.

With shops like River Island, H&M, JD Sports, Selfridges, Zara, and other stores opening this year - it’s a great hub for all your needs.
The shopping centre will also be transformed today (May 26) for an After Hours event. On May 26 , from 9pm to midnight the iconic shopping, dining and leisure destination will be transformed after the stores close for the day.
The after hours night out is being organised in partnership with LGBTQ+ radio station Gaydio. During the event, partygoers will be able to raise the roof and their glass with a selection of drinks from a bespoke bar that will be opened at the centre especially for the event.

The Bullring’s after hours event will be hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star and fan-favourite, Ginny Lemon. The event will feature a stellar line-up including music producer and promoter, Jodie Harsh, with a DJ set and Girls Aloud member, Nadine Coyle, with a special performance. Music will also be provided by Ginny’s fellow Drag Race UK star, Black Peppa, and DJs from Gaydio.
