The extra bank holiday is upon us as the country celebrates the coronation of King Charles. And, many people might decide to use the extra day off to do some shopping at the Bullring & Grand Central in Birmingham city centre to get ready for the summer.

Stores are hotting up with their summer collections of sun dresses, beachwear, hats, and flip flops as people plan for vacations during the summer half term from May 29 to June 2 and further ahead.

Whether you are looking for beach toys and accessories for kids or the perfect vacation outfits for yourselves - the Bullring and Grand Central is a great place to go.

With shops like River Island, H&M, JD Sports, Selfridges, Zara, and other stores opening this year - it’s a great hub for all your needs.

Whether you are climate conscious or looking to save while shopping trendy designerwear, Selfridges’ newly-launched circular shopping scheme called Worn Again might be of interest.

However, during the upcoming weekend, there’s lots going on in Birmingham city centre like the Coronation celebrations in Centenary Square and the Great Birmingham Run.

The city centre will be jam packed and people might be heading to Bullring and Grand Central in greater numbers than usual weekends. So, it would be good to keep in mind that you’d need to allow extra time to get to the shops this weekend.
