Four murder suspects arrested after Birmingham Bordesley Green fatal stabbing

Police have arrested two more people on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing in Birmingham over the weekend.

The latest suspects are men aged 21 and 24 who are currently being held in custody. Officers arrested two other men aged 26 and 36 yesterday (Sunday, November 5).

It follows the discovery of a 28 year-old man suffering stab injuries on Cherrywood Road in Bordesley Green in the early hours of yesterday.

He was taken to hospital, but sadly died of his injuries. West Midlands Police said: “We have specially trained officers supporting the victim’s family and our thoughts remain with them at this devastating time.

“We are still in the early stages of our investigation and officers will be continuing to make enquiries which includes trawling CCTV and speaking to any witnesses. A police cordon was put in place while we forensically examined the scene.
