Black Sabbath the Ballet opened its doors for the first time ever in Birmingham yesterday (September 23) and it was a starry opening night.
From Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi to Geezer Butler and Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon Osbourne -there were some famous faces of rock music at the opening night. Led Zeppelin founder Robert Plant and Bev Bevan of ELO also attended the incredible opening night of "Black Sabbath the Ballet” at Birmingham Hippodrome.
It was an exciting night in Bimringham with the first ever showing of Black Sabbath: The Ballet taking place at Birmingham Hippodrome at the same time as Sinatra the Musical premiered at The Rep theatre.
Tony Iommi, who had worked on the heavy metal dance show with Birmingham Royal Ballet, took a bow at the end of the night along with the cast and crew. Here are 10 photos from the incredible opening night of the sold out show:
