The band takes their name from an iconic well known car park in Birmingham city centre, spotted by lead singer David Purchase whilst at Snow Hill Station. He told BirminghamWorld how Paradise Circus felt like a fitting name for the band, considering it was born just round the corner at Birmingham City University.
Drawing influence from bands such as Coldplay, U2 and Arctic Monkeys, the group have earned praise from NME and BBC Introducing, with Rakeem Omar of BBC Introducing saying: “They are on the rise and deserve for us to be shouting out about them”
Paradise Circus have created a tight-knit community of followers, and enjoy interacting with their fans, even describing them as “the extra members of the band”.

Singer David Purchase offers his interpretation of the song, saying: “It’s about calling for somebody once they’ve gone to come back and teach you all the things you never knew”.
The single, written predominantly by drummer Nathan Shingler, comes before Paradise Circus’ headline gig at The O2 Institute Birmingham on October 7, and is available to stream on all platforms now. Tickets for the O2 Academy show are available here: O2 Academy Paradise Circus
