Police name third man arrested for a shooting in Alum Rock, Birmingham

West Midlands Police have said that they have charged a third man with attempted murder after a shooting in Alum Rock, Birmingham.
The incident took place shortly after midnight on June 27 where a man was shot in the chest. His injuries were not life-threatening and he is currently continuing his recovery. Awais Ahmed, aged 20, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (July 19).
