Birmingham Aldi supermarket star Kerry Partridge is celebrating 25 years of working for the budget food business.

Kerry first joined the supermarket as a Deputy Manager in 1998. After working across several stores in the area since then, she joined Aldi’s Kings Norton store last year where she now works as a Store Assistant.

Aldi have commended Kerry for being an integral part of the Kings Norton team as the brand has continued to grow over the years. She has become a well-known face amongst colleagues and customers alike - and has a special Aldi budget product that she likes best.  The celebrations follow plans released by Aldi and Lidl to introduce more budget supermarkets in nearby Northfield and Longbridge.

Commenting on her time at Aldi, Kerry said: “The last 25 years at Aldi have flown by, and I am really proud to have been a part of the supermarket for so long. When I first started, I had to remember all the prices of all the products and blind type on the till, so it is fair to say both Aldi and I have come a long way since then!”

When asked what the one Aldi product she couldn’t live without was, Kerry said: “Aldi’s Diet Red Thunder helps to keep me going as the days get darker – and its great taste is a bonus!”

Marius Manolescu, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to all of our colleagues and take great pride in celebrating their achievements. Colleagues like Kerry have played a key part in our growth and success, and I would like to thank her for her contributions. Our colleagues allow us to connect with wider communities and continue to provide the high-quality service that customers keep coming back for.”
