The Christmas celebrations are over and a New Year has begun - and thousands of people are enjoying a trip abroad from Birmingham Airport.
The international transport hub has unveiled its top ten most popular destinations for January 2024 - and they are breathtakingly beautiful.
Some people are heading east - others west - with many enjoying a winter sun beach holiday, while others are headed for city breaks.
There is an abundance of deals from airlines available too - with many offering return flights in January for less than £100, but they are not all to these destinations.
A whopping 799,024 travelled through the airport in December 2023 - a 14% increase on December 2022. They headed out on 2,820 flights, with 92% passing through security in 20 minutes or less. The most popular destinations last month were Dublin, Dubai and Amsterdam.
