Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez throws a lavish World Cup victory party at Birmigham hotel

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has continued to celebrate his country’s victory at the FIFA World Cup 2022 - throwing a lavish party at a four star hotel on the outskirts of Birmingham.

Martinez, 30, who is from Argentina and lives in the Birmingham area, hoted the party with his wife Mandinha for his colleagues and friends at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield.

The party featured Argentinian DJ Fer Palacio playing some sets. Palacio is close with the Argentine team and has been photographed with Lionel Messi multiple times. Mandinha joined him in trying out some DJ-ing.

Palacio shared photos from the grand party hosted at The Belfry - which is the host of one of the biggest golf tournaments in the world.

For the Argentina-themed party, the guests which included Emiliano Buendía, and the hosts were dressed in white. Other Aston Villa stars like Brazilian Philippe Coutinho were in attendance too.

The hotel is only nine miles from Villa Park and it was decorated with Argentina memorabilia. The World Cup trophy was also at the party and Martinez posed with it.

The Belfry has massive golf courses, spas, and amazing restaurants. It has 300+ luxurious bedrooms and suites. Their three golf courses, including The Brabazon and PGA National, are recognised as world-class, having previously hosted The Ryder Cup four times.
