Aston railway station's routes cancelled due to embankment fire - Here are the routes affected

A fire on a railway embankment near Aston railway station, located on Lichfield Road, Aston, Birmingham, is expected to cause disruptions on some rail services until the end of the day.
The blaze next to the track at Aston damaged railway signalling cables and vegetation, according to West Midlands Fire Service.

As a result, some lines were closed, preventing trains from running between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley and Walsall, warned Network Rail.
Tickets for affected services could be used with other rail operators and on some National Express services at no extra cost.
The routes affected include:
- Redditch
- Four Oaks
- Bromsgrove
- Lichfield Trent Valley
- Walsall
- Wolverhampton
All services to these destinations are currently cancelled.
The fire caused major disruption on the Cross City line, according to Network Rail.
Passengers were thanked for their patience as engineers worked on-site in Aston to investigate the issue.
