Man in critical condition after assault in Aston, Birmingham

West Midlands Police are asking the public for information after a 22-year-old man was left in a critical condition after being assaulted in Birmingham.

The man was attacked in the early hours of Thursday, April 13 on Mansfield Road, Aston. Police said they received a call at 1.40am to say the victim had been discovered with serious injuries.

A force spokesperson said: “He remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and we need the public’s help to find who was responsible for the attack.” Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, from the Force CID, added: “We are urging anyone with information about the incident or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward using Live Chat via our West Midlands Police website or by ringing 101 quoting crime number 20/46591/23.”
