Asda fraudsters fined
Three ASDA scammers have been fined and ordered to repay the cost of stolen goods after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court this week.
The trio were caught trying to take a range of electrical items worth hundreds of pounds through the self-service tills at the superstore in Minworth.

Hide AdDandre Day, his girlfriend Courtney Tilley and accomplice Darren Tilley ran the expensive items as fruit and vegetables on the 21st & 22nd of March. They admitted their guilt.
Erdington attempted murder charge
West Midlands Police have charged a woman with attempted murder after a man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Reservoir Road, Erdington on Friday night (8 October).
Gina Brown, of Osprey Road, is also charged with driving while above the drink drive limit and failing to stop. The 44-year-old was remanded into custody. The man - aged in his 40s and who is known to her - remains in a critical condition in hospital.
