Police are looking to trace a group of men following a homophobic attack in Birmingham city centre.

The incident happened in the city’s Gay Village on Bromsgrove Street at the junction with Hurst Street, where a group of men shouted abuse at two men, including offensive homophobic language, before pushing them.

This happened at around 3am on Sunday 19 June.

A statement from West Midlands Police, read: “We will not tolerate hate crime, this is totally unacceptable. If you can help us identify these men, please contact us via Live Chat at http://west-midlands.police.uk, quoting investigation 20/567328/22, or call 10.”
