Homophobic football fan gets Banning Order

A football fan has received a three year Banning Order after being convicted of hurling both homophobic abuse and making gestures mimicking disability.

Thirty-one year-old Jamie Arnold from was found guilty of a public order offence and was ordered to pay almost £875 in fines and costs.

West Midlands Police have issued an appeal for information to help determine the whereabouts of a missing man from Shirley. Andrew, who is 34 years old and 5 foot 11 was last seen wearing a blue fleece and blue trousers.

Anyone who may have information has been asked to call 999.

Tipton armed robber jailed

An armed robber has been jailed after being identified by a distinctive hand tattoo. Luke Millington used a knife to threaten staff at a Tipton convenience store earlier this year.

The 28 year old pleaded to robbery and possession of a weapon and was sentenced to four years and eight months.
