Police are appealing for information after a man suffered multiple cuts to his head when he was attacked with a glass at a pub in Bennetts Hill in Birmingham city centre.

The victim, who was also punched, needed hospital treatment after what West Midlands Police said was an unprovoked attack at about 10pm on Saturday, 18 December.

The victim is still recovering from the physical and psychological impact, according to the force.

A police spokesman, said: “If you know who the man in the image is (pictured above), please message us via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk, quoting investigation 20/660816/21, or call 101.“To tell us what you know, not who you are, talk 100% anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
