Scores of youngsters will be stepping into the next phase of their education as they start secondary school in September.
As preparations are made for their first day at ‘big’ school, we have put together a list of all of the primary and secondary schools in the Sandwell area which received Ofted ratings in 2022, according to the Ofsted website.
Schools across the country are regularly inspected by the education watchdog and are graded on a four-point scale.
‘Outstanding’ is the top rating a school can receive, ‘good’ is second, ‘requires improvement’ the third and ‘inadequate’ is the worst.
Here’s what the 2022 ratings are for the schools in the borough.
1. The British Muslim School, West Bromwich - good
