20 jobs in entertainment businesses Birmingham city centre
Twenty new jobs being offered by entertainment businesses across Birmingham’s ‘golden mile’ of Broad Street, showing new confidence in the city centre as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
The opportunities are for roles ranging from events management and finance to media technicians, as well as jobs in shops, bars and cafes.

Hide AdThe jobs are being advertised on Westside BID’s jobs site, which was launched earlier this summer.
The REP theatre
Several jobs are being sought at The REP theatre, including a head of technical design involved in all productions, as well as finance and sales and events roles.
Ikon Gallery
The Ikon Gallery is looking for an assistant curator to help in the research, planning and delivery of exhibitions and artistic programmes, plus a communications and digital coordinator.
The NEC Group
The NEC Group is also in the market for a number of jobs involving the International Convention Centre, including a conference and banqueting manager and a production manager.
Commonwealth Games

Hide AdApplicants are sought for a project co-ordinator to help with the successful delivery of the Commonwealth Games.
Hospitality sector
Other jobs are available in the hospitality sector across the NEC Group and at venues such as Starbucks and Subway, including chefs and kitchen porters.
Luisa Huggins, media manager at Westside BID, said the job applications demonstrated how the hospitality sector was returning to normal.
She added: “We are pleased to support members by hosting a jobs page that has been well received. Our members talk, we listen, and take action.”
