There are plenty of brilliant winter walks in and around Birmingham to enjoy in the coming months.
If you fancy a winter walk on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, there are plenty of great routes in and around Birmingham.
The West Midlands offers so much throughout the year, and some parts of the region really thrive in the colder weather.
So we’ve decided to share a few tips on how to make the most out of this time of year - especially if you are wanting to head out the house over the Christmas period!

1. Clent Hills
Located near the Clent Hills, this village offers stunning countryside views and great walking trails. The village itself has charming cottages and a welcoming pub, perfect for a relaxing visit. 2. Earlswood Lakes
Earlswood is home to the three 22 acre reservoirs of Earlswood Lakes, with opportunities for sailing, fishing and walking and is home to a variety of birds and wildlife. 3. Cannon Hill Park
This Moseley park is a great place to visit in the winter and offers many walking routes, including a 1.4-mile loop trail and a 5-kilometer walking route. You can also head to the Prince of Wales pub or neaby Fighting Cocks in Moseley afterwards | joh.sch - stock.adobe.com

4. Henley-in-Arden
