The West Midlands ranks 5th out of 12 UK regions for average house price increase in past 10 years.
Over the past 10 years, Sandwell has had the West Midlands' biggest increase in average house price, new analysis of the latest Land Registry figures has revealed.
The study by bridging loan experts Bridging Finance London found that the average price of a house in the local authority in November 2024 was £211,591, compared to £115,833 in November 2014, representing a 82.67% increase. At a national level, Sandwell ranks 7th when comparing all local authority areas in the UK.
