UB40 kicked off their world tour with a concert for Birmingham City fans at St. Andrew's Knighthead Park

UB40 played a huge homecoming show at Birmingham City's home ground last night (April 1) following the club's vital 1-0 win over Preston.

The reggae icons, who formed in Birmingham, played the concert to officially launch Blues' naming rights partnership alongside the world premiere of the band’s new album UB45.

Birmingham's Amercian owners, Knighthead Capital Management, took over the reins at Birmingham in June 2023. St Andrew's was officially renamed St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park stadium last night, with the official launch taking place in collaboration with UB40's world tour, which also kicked-off yesterday.

Following Birmingham's much needed 1-0 win over Preston in the Championship, UB40 played to thousands of Birmingham fans at the stadium, as the band worked their way through the hits.
